Some moments in life deserve to be filmed. Maybe your dog did something impossibly cute while asking for a treat. Maybe you finally perfected that impression of your favorite K-Pop star. With the video-sharing app Kwai, you can not only record these moments but share them with all of your friends.
Designed for Android smartphones, Kwai allows users to create short videos and slideshows. You can add fun effects like frames, fonts, and filters to your videos, as well as dubbing your voice with lines from famous movies. Your videos can be shared within Kwai or on other social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.
But what if you don’t have an Android smartphone? Not everyone has a smartphone, and many smartphone users don’t have enough storage space on their device to download new apps. Luckily, you can run Kwai on your personal computer using the BlueStacks Android emulator. This guide will explain how to use BlueStacks to install Kwai for Windows, Kwai for Mac, or Kwai for PC.
Step 1: Install the BlueStacks Emulator
An emulator like BlueStacks allows you to run smartphone programs like Kwai on your computer. To download BlueStacks, visit the BlueStacks download page at www.bluestacks.com and click the “Download BlueStacks” button. Depending on your computer, the download button will suggest downloading the Mac or Windows version of BlueStacks.
Once you’ve downloaded the BlueStacks installer, click to open it. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish installing BlueStacks on your system.
Step 2: Log in to Google Play
The BlueStacks emulator connects to the Google Play Store to make downloading Android apps on your PC or Mac as simple as possible. To access Google Play, find the Play Store icon on the BlueStacks home screen. If you didn’t log in already during the installation process, log in to your Google account using a valid Gmail address and password. You can create a Google account on the Google website if you don’t already have one. BlueStacks also allows you to create a Google account from within BlueStacks itself.
Step 3: Download Kwai for PC
In the Google Play Store search box, type “Kwai.” When you see the Kwai app icon, click on the word “Free” in the lower right-hand corner of the icon. You will then see a green “Install” button. Click this button to download and install Kwai within the BlueStacks emulator. Make sure to agree to the Kwai terms and conditions to begin the download.
Step 4: Enjoy the App!
Once the Kwai app finishes downloading, you’ll be able to access it from the “All Apps” menu within BlueStacks. Click on the icon to launch the Kwai app and play Kwai for Windows, Kwai for Mac, or Kwai for PC.
BlueStacks uses a unique technology called Layercake to display and run Android apps as smoothly as possible, so you won’t have to worry about graphics or interface issues while using the emulator. Upload your own videos, view your friends’ videos, and enjoy connecting with your Kwai social network.
